1967 Ford Galaxy or 1950 Ford Custom Coupe
The Phoenix Police Museum owns historic police vehicles which are available for your events.
Retired and current Phoenix Police Department Officers volunteer their time to drive the vehicles for various events throughout the metro Phoenix area.
Some of the events the cars have been used for include:
- Retirement celebrations
- Neighborhood events
While there is no cost to have the vehicles at your event, we ask that donations be made to the museum to assist with maintaining the vehicles. Donations can be made here while setting up your booking.
Please include your name, event name/title, event date and time, event address. Also indicate if you are a non-profit or if the event is associated with the City of Phoenix.
The Phoenix Police Museum is proud to showcase the classic patrol cars of the Phoenix Police Department.
Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of your event! We look forward to hearing from you!
Our 1967 Ford Galaxie is Tan and White. This restoration was completed by our museum curator Mike Nikolin over many months with the assistance of other car enthusiasts. This project took many late nights and long weekends for him to complete. The car was provided by a retired police secretary. Although it did not start out as a Phoenix Police Car, it is the exact replica of one from that time period. It is painted in the tan and white paint scheme that was used in the late 60’s until the late 70’s.
Vehicle priority is given to Phoenix Police Department requested events at no cost. They are also available for non Phoenix Police events, such as weddings, parades, retirements and other special events for a suggested donation based on time of use or display. Availability is limited at times to unexpected vehicle repair and volunteer drivers. Requests for a specific vehicle may be substituted with no or little notice due to unexpected vehicle performance issues. Some vehicles do not have air conditioning and may be best used as a static display or may not be used in hot months in parades due to low speeds and overheating issues. (Remember these cars can be nearly 70 years old.)
